Whichever type of garden bar you are dreaming of – a gin joint, a sporty pub, a family snack shack – the 6x3 Wooden Garden Bar fits the bill!

Made from smooth-planed 12mm shiplap tongue and groove, the cladding, door and shutters of this outdoor bar are designed to resist the elements and provide a robust, durable garden building.

The garden bar's timber has been dip-treated resulting in an autumn gold colouring and anti-rot protection that is guaranteed for 10 years – if supported by annual retreatment.

A pressure-treated, solid timber floor provides the outside bar with a durable, reliable floor that, unlike OSB, will not sag, resists rot, looks attractive and will withstand years of use.

The pent roof makes the outdoor garden bar ideal for placing under trees or up against a wall. Rain will run away from the front of the bar and the stylish overhang provides further protection. The roof is 8mm OSB and finished in green mineral felt.

Two bifold shutters open to provide the perfect area serving drinks, snacks and wise bartender advice. The solid bar is positioned at approximately 1.06m high – ideal for tucking under most bar stools (please measure your stools). When not in used the shutters are secured with turn buttons and keep all contents out of sight.

Fitted with a padbolt (padlock not supplied), the lockable door can be placed to either the left or the right of the outdoor wooden bar. Added security is provided by hidden hinges, so these cannot be unscrewed from the outside. As the bar can be fully closed, it can also serve as a shed during winter months for the stools and other garden accessories that may need protection from the elements.

The outdoor garden bar must be placed on a solid, level surface. A suitable base is available from the accessory menu above.

Clear instructions and all required fixings are provided with bar. Delivery is free to most UK postcodes.

Why Choose a Forest Wooden Garden Bar?

Convert your garden into a versatile outdoor entertainment space by adding a Wooden Garden Bar. Made using dip-treated shiplap cladding, this Wooden Garden Bar is the perfect addition to your garden this summer!

Dip treatment coats the timber in a preservative, which protects the wood from rot and fungal decay. When supported by annual applications, this treatment provides over 10 years of protection.

Shiplap cladding ensures consistency and strength as well, as providing the traditional style we all know and love. The high-quality cladding means the panels are less likely to warp or develop gaps.

Strong and durable, the 14mm pressure-treated boarded timber floor is built to withstand wear and tear and enable storage of heavier items. This floor is further strengthened by pressure treated timber bearers.

The 8mm OSB roof with green mineral felt covering ensures this bar will stand up to the elements.

Attractive bi-fold shutters provide additional protection from the elements when closed, but can easily be opened when entertaining.

The outdoor garden bar features a single-access door, which you can position either side of the bar to suit your garden's design. The door is fitted with a padbolt, ready for you to add a padlock (not supplied). For added security, the door is also fitted with hidden hinges; this prevents them being unscrewed from the outside.

Dip Treatment Process Explained

Dip treatment is a tried and tested method of applying wood preservative to timber products, and the process is fairly straightforward. First, the timber is dipped into a cylinder containing a powerful wood preservative. The preservative is then absorbed into the surface of the timber and, after it’s removed and left to dry, it will be thoroughly protected it against both rot and fungal decay.

After the dip treatment process is completed, the timber will have a lovely orangey-brown hue, ensuring it will become an attractive feature of your garden, as well as complementing most fence panels. Of course, you can choose to stain your dip treated shed another colour upon assembly. If you’re interested in an affordable, practical, and sturdy dip treated shed, why not take a look at our featured products below?

1. DIP: Timber is dipped into a cylinder containing preservative.

2. ABSORB: Preservative is absorbed into the surface of the timber.

3. REMOVE: Timber is removed from the cylinder of preservative.

4. DRY: Timber is left to dry.

Forest Logo

Making British Gardens Great

At Forest, we know a fair bit about fences. And sheds for that matter. In fact, we've been one of the UK's most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products for over 50 years.

With two sawmills in the UK processing locally-sourced timber, and a Head Office in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, you’ll find our range of garden buildings, fencing, decking and decorative structures for sale across many sites online and in over 3,000 retail stores. From the forest to the doorstep, we are involved every step of the way to ensure we bring you the best product and service.

Home Grown

We're proud to say that the majority of the timber we use is cut in our very own sawmill from trees grown in the UK.

Not only that, but our range is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and the majority of our products carry the FSC logo - so you know that our timber is ethically sourced from well-managed, sustainable forests that are replanted for future generations.

(Certification number TT-COC-001790, Issue date 5 March 2015)

Made in the UK

Well made in Britain

The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland and Wales. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in one of our nearby sawmills and taken to our manufacturing operation in the heart of Britain. It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.

All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.
