Description

An innovation in fence panel design, the 6x6 Decibel Noise Reduction Fence Panel combines noise reduction performance with a robust build and attractive appearance. It is ideal for use in city gardens, near roads, near schools and whereever you want to minimise noise in your garden.

To prevent gaps developing, and therefore minimising noise passing through, the 17mm thick boards feature an extended Tongue and Groove construction to interlock tightly in a rebated frame. Triform technology provides a noise reflecting triangular profile; the sound waves hit multiple faces and break up to diffuse unwanted noise.

The fence panel has been tested with results showing its ability to reduce noise levels by as much as 30 decibels (dB). Imagine the noise of a petrol lawnmower reduced to that of a nomal conversation - an impressive 8-fold reduction in perceived noise intensity.

For an attractive finish, the timber is smooth-planed and has also been pressure treated for long-lasting quality. The fence panel comes with a 15 year guarantee against rot and fungal decay. There is no need for you to re-treat the fencing, saving you time and money.

We recommend, for optimum performance, that this 6x6 fence panel be mounted to fence posts securely to minimise gaps. Using slotted fence posts (timber or wooden) or screwing the panel directly to a wooden fence post would be best. We do not recommend using fence U-brackets as these will create gaps, undermining the noise reduction performance of this fence panel. In addition, the use of gravel boards will further optimise the sound reduction.

If a delivery day is not specified, we will contact you to arrange one.

 

Choose Your Delivery Day is NOT available for CO, CT, EX, IP, ME, NR, PL, TN, TQ, TR and Scottish postcodes. Here, delivery is 2-3 Weeks from the order date.

Upon arrival, the friendly driver will deliver your order to a place of your choice - as long as it is a reasonable request and it is safe to do so - within your garden. Please ensure they have unrestricted access, which does not involve passing through your home or garage. We would not risk damaging your property whilst delivering a product to an un-safe location. All product packaging will be removed and taken away with the driver!
