The acrylic glazing of this cold frame provides a safer alternative to glass, while remaining practical and allowing in plenty of sunlight and warmth. Its two independently opening lids can be propped open allowing you to work without exposing your plants completely.

We recommend hat you use a weed block fabric alongside this cold frame to stop any weeds from growing through, as well as capturing even more warmth.

So you can enjoy your wooden cold frame for many years to come, the timber has been pressure treated for a superior build. This provides a 15 year guarantee against rot and fungal decay with no need for further retreatment, saving you time and money.

The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland and Wales. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in one of our nearby sawmills and taken to our manufacturing operation in the heart of Britain. It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.

 

All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.

We're proud to say that the majority of the timber we use is cut in our very own sawmill from trees grown in the UK.

Delivery is FREE to the majority of UK mainland postcodes. For all fencing and decking orders, we offer FREE delivery for all orders over £100 (£24.99 for orders under £100). To check you qualify for Choose Your Delivery Day, please use the postcode checker above or within checkout to check delivery is available to your area. If a delivery day is not specified, we will contact you to arrange one.

 

Choose Your Delivery Day is NOT available for CO, EX, IP, NR, PL, TQ, TR and Scottish postcodes. Here, delivery is 2-3 Weeks from the order date.

 

A delivery surcharge applies to the following postcodes:  £19.99 - BH, BN, CT, PO1-22, SO31,40-45, TN.  £29.99 - DT3-9.  £39.99 - SA, TA.  £59.99 - DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, G, KY, PL, ML, TD, TQ, TR1-20,26-27.  £69.99 - KA1-26, PA1-38, PH1-40,49-50.  £79.99 - AB.  £99.99 - IV1-40,63-99, KW1-14.

 

We aim to deliver within the advertised lead-time however for the postcodes listed above it can take up to 5-10 days extra.

Two days before delivery, you will receive a 4-hour time slot via text message. You are able to respond to this text and we welcome any helpful delivery instructions to ensure a successful delivery. Then, on the morning of delivery, you will receive a 2-hour ETA via email. This includes a link to track your driver’s progress.

 

Upon arrival, the friendly driver will deliver your order to a place of your choice - as long as it is a reasonable request and it is safe to do so - within your garden. Please ensure they have unrestricted access, which does not involve passing through your home or garage. We would not risk damaging your property whilst delivering a product to an un-safe location. All product packaging will be removed and taken away with the driver!
