A Weathertight Log Cabin
Built from 56mm laminated Nordic spruce, with modern corner connections, this garden cabin is supremely well insulated and weathertight, making it perfect for use the whole year round. The floor and roof are both made from premium tongue and groove, which is also renowned for its strength and weathertight qualities. The extra-thick 28mm floor is fitted with treated foundation joists, to improve air flow underneath the log cabin and prevent ground moisture causing rot. The 19mm roof comes with a modern pent design, including a generous overhang to prevent sun glare.
Select a Roof Cover
As the roof does not include a cover as standard, we recommend buying SBS, roof underlay felt and heavy-duty roofing nails as optional extras.
SBS is a thick, torch-on weatherproof felt with a very long lifespan. Unless you possess advanced DIY skills, we advise hiring a professional installer to fit it.
Roof Underlay Felt is easy to nail on to the garden building but is only designed as a temporary cover or an underlay to SBS.
Double-Glazed Sliding Doors Set
Made from 4-16-4mm toughened double glazing, the sliding doors set is fitted with an aluminium frame and stainless-steel sill to protect it from wear and tear. It also includes a cylinder lock to keep your valuable items safe.
Installation and Warranty
This garden room is supplied with an excellent 5-year manufacturer’s parts warranty. It includes instructions and a fixings kit to help you achieve a straightforward assembly.
Log Cabin Maintenance
This log cabin is supplied untreated. You should apply an anti-fungal treatment upon assembly, and annually, thereafter, to protect the wood from rot and validate the warranty. You can paint this garden cabin too, if desired.
